Cocking Around!

I don't know if it was how I was raised, but most people yell "Rooster!" when the see a rooster pheasant. Not so in my family. If you saw a rooster pheasant you screamed "Cock!"

Today I did! I was heading out on a horseback ride and I saw this rooster cocking around the family farm.

Glad to see there are a few pheasants left in Utah. I was beginning to wonder if they are an endangered species there.
